Bill Tichota

Bill
Tichota started Bill’s Body Shop in May of 1968 and ran the shop till he sold it
in 2001. He was a charter member of NABA and served as an area rep for a number
of years. He was active and helped in any way that he could. He was co-chairman
of the convention when it was held in Norfolk.
Bill was also active in the Noon Kiwanis club of Norfolk and served
as President for and spearheaded the construction of a shelter and the repair of
the Kiwanis youth camp after a flood destroyed it. He also served as a member of
a Citizen’s Advisory Committee to make recommendations for the 2002 water
facilities master plan for the city of Norfolk. He is presently President of the
local Habitat for Humanity board and was also on the board for the Golden Girls
softball program. Bill was active in his church organizations and served as
Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Faithful Navigator of the Fourth Degree
Knights of Columbus, and President of the Norfolk Catholic Booster Club and was
a member of the Norfolk Catholic School Board. Bill enjoys woodworking since he
has retired and has done lots of remodeling.
The Nebraska Autobody Association and its members are proud to induct
